In this post I go over the 3 main struggle areas and dive deep into why you are making your journey harder than it needs to be.
News Flash! You are making it harder than it needs to be in your business. When was the last time you’ve asked yourself if you are making it harder than it needs to be in your business? Because when we ask ourselves this it’s a really powerful question.
We can really feel into which area of our business that is starting to feel really hard, really clunky with energy and actually we are making everything harder than it needs to be.
So there are 3 main areas I want to talk about where you are making it harder than it needs to be.
This is definitely me, I’m going to hold my hands up. It’s when you’re telling yourself the story well I’m starting a business this is meant to be hard, or this is so hard, this is so hard, you’re focusing on what’s difficult, what’s on the struggle, rather than on the solution.
So you say I can’t do this because of this, or this isn’t an option because of this, and I hear this a lot and it’s a shame because you get to keep the excuses you are arguing for. If you really want to live by being limited by those things then you will stay limited by them.
But instead if we drop the struggle, drop the addiction to finding all the things that are standing in our way, so if we look for the solution because I hate to break it to you but if your doing that early on in your business – you won’t have longevity in your business, there is always going to be something at some stage that you need to work through.
My coach liked to say new level new devil there is always something that you are going to have to work out what to do what to upscale or uplevel. At some point you are going to have to grow your team, that is something you are going to have to get your head around. It’s exciting its expansive but you also need to go in with the right attitude towards it.
One of the easiest ways that you can break away from being addicted to the struggle is finding someone who has been there before. So instead of struggling your way through blind, not understanding how to get through, how not to have these issues, you can just have someone that has been there done it and created what you wanted to create and guide you through that journey. It’s going to rocket you out of struggle town and make you skip to success. This is what’s it all about and this is what you want.
The second thing where I see people making their business harder than it needs to be is they wait for their clients to come to them, so they are sitting there with their brand new instagram, new posts, valuable beautiful instagram content but they are literally sat there waiting for their clients to come to them, as if in this whole crowded instagram world your client will just come to you, now this will happen when you build momentum, but in the early stages you need to stop thinking your client will automatically come to you you need to genuinely be creating these connections and relationships, and instead of just waiting for them to find you, you need to find them.
This might look like collabs, holding events, reaching out to them, there’s all sorts of avenues to open up, you need to find your client and understand why this is important and you need to create connections with them.
The third thing is where you keep yourself limited. This looks being ready to scale, ready to grow a team not doing everything yourself, when you first start you’re doing everything and there is something really powerful int hat but also it gets to a point where you are limiting yourself by doing this you need to get to more of the CEo energy and focusing on your zone of genius, and this allows you to scale fast.
If you have people owning their zone of genius this allows you to grow faster, and freeing time and energy to focus on things that grow your business. For example, if I’m focusing on the admin and nitty gritty on the business the whole time, this takes me away from spending time coaching these epic women and building their business. So where are you making it harder by keeping hold of everything yourself? Where are you sticking to one business programme? If you are just focusing on 1-1 instead of groups, self taught programmes then you are limiting yourself.
