Taking the next steps in your business can feel like a quantum leap, really stepping into that expansion. But in an industry flooded by ‘Hustle’ mentality, how to take the next steps in your business in a really soulful way is a question I often get asked. 

Tip 1 – Break up with hustle

The first thing I want to share around this is all about breaking free from hustle, because something that has been really common is there’s been a lot of focus on masculine energy, goal hitting, really go go go, dog eat dog when it comes to reaching the next level and meeting your goals. 

This plays out as business owners taking a lot of action but not necessarily getting the results they’re craving and as a result of taking all this action they’re starting to either feel burnt out or out of love with their business. 

The key to really making sure you move away from hustle is finding aligned action, so focusing on aligned action steps in your business that are actually taking you closer to the bigger picture goals that you want to create instead of just taking action for action’s sake  which is where you end up really really busy but thinking why am I never actually getting the results that I crave, so we really need to break up with hustle.

Breaking up with the Hustle is something that I teach in the soulful start up, and I’ve actually created something called the calm method, so the calm method is clarity, action, lifestyle, mindset and motivation, and the reason behind bringing these elements together is I noticed that when you bing all these elements together in building your business, you could build your business in a calm way without hustle.

Tip 2 – Focus on Clarity & Aligned Action

The second tip that I would give is really linking to the aligned action that i was talking about, in order to take aligned action you need to be having clarity, because without clarity you sort of ping-pong around from idea to idea, from launch to launch, from thing to thing but theres a real lack of clarity and a real lack of direction, without this clarity as well you can find your actions will feel stilted, so you might not even be sure which action to take next, you might struggle with thing as well like how to create content because you’re not sure what direction your actually moving in in your business, your not sure who your serving, and it really speaks to this kind of niche element as well, so, i know everyone bangs on about it but it’s for a reason, i remember when i first started my business, when they were saying ‘oh you need to know you’re niche’ and i was like i don’t want a niche, i just want to serve everyone i want to serve loads of people in these different areas, but it made it really difficult not just for me to create content but for people to know who i was speaking to, that is why i’m so passionate now about helping women with their niche and there has been so many women that have jumped on a call with me and been like ‘i just can’t nail my niche, i have no idea, im here, there, and everywhere’ and i swear to god i must be magic when it comes to niche because after 15 minutes together they are like ‘oh my god, i am so clear, i know exactly who i’m serving, i have so many contact ideas’ and it just shows how powerful it is, having that clarity, knowing your niche.

 

Tip 3 – Create a Strategy

The 3rd tip I would say is have strategic plan, so people associate soulful business building with just like flow, floating from one thing to the next having all these downloads, that is 100 percent part of it, but, in order to really allow space for that flow, you need to have a strategic plan, because if you are so busy just in that flow and to far in feminine energy that becomes chaos, so feminine energy flows well when its in balance with the masculine, this is why you have the ying and the yang, so you really want to be making sure that you do actually have a strategic plan, so ask yourself right now, do you have a strategic plan for the next 3 month, for the next 6 months, the next year in your business? Because if you don’t, that something that you really want to be putting in place, because as well if you don’t have that strategic plan you’re low key gonna be stressing in your head and that is going to really make you struggle to build thing in a soulful way, its hard to feel soulful and in flow when you’re actually stressing out thinking fuck! What am I actually doing next, when this is gonna come, what am I gonna do? 

 

Tip 4 – Build Your Community

The 4th tip build your community, there is something so beautiful about having community around you when your building your business, and it helps you do it in a way that you don’t feel alone and that you feel really, really supported, so having people around you who expand you, and not just having people around you who are building businesses but actually inspire you to be bigger and boulder in your business and in the action you are taking, who inspire you to be bigger and boulder when it comes to creating impact, so really focusing on finding that community and also you collaborate within this community as well so you can be leaning on each other.
